Rice pudding(Kheer)


Ingredients:
1/2 cup rice,4 cups milk,2 tablespoon ghee(clarified butter),5-6 tablespoon sugar(or as per taste), 1 teaspoon cardamom powder,few nuts(cashews,raisins,almonds).

Time:20-25mins

Method:

1.First wash the rice and soak it in water for 10 mins. after 10 mins. take it out.
2.Keep one pan on medium to high heat,add ghee let it melt and add rice keep stirring for 2-3 mins.
3.Add milk and nuts,reduce the heat to medium, stir occasionally until rice is cooked completely,you will see milk is also becoming thick,If you think it is too thick ,you can adjust the consistency by adding some milk at the end.
4.Lastly add cardamom powder and turn off the heat.
