UPAMA

Ingredients:
One cup sooji(rava),1 chopped onion,1 table spoon urad daal,
3-4 green chilies,2-3 tablespoon pea nuts,cilantro,cumin and mustard seed,3-4 tablespoon oil(or ghee),salt to taste.

Time:15-20 min

1.Boil some water(2-3 cups) and keep it aside.
2.Keep the pan on medium heat,add oil.
When oil will become hot add cumin and mustard seed,let them crackle.
3.Now add onion and fry until it turns soft and pink.Add peanuts fry it to golden brown.Add chopped chili ,urad daal stir well for 1 min , now add sooji in the pan ,keep the pan on low to medium heat and now constantly stir the mixture when sooji will start to turn golden/light brown in color (initially it was white) add boiled water,you will see it somewhat thin & sticky but don't worry after 5-10 min it will become dry.when you add water in sooji ,be careful while adding water,otherwise it will become too sticky or too dry.
4.Garnish with cilantro and shev(pharsaan or aloo bhujia) and serve hot with plain yogurt(dahi).................mast upama !!!!!!!!!!! just go and try it..


Tip:Whenever you buy sooji from store roast the sooji for five min on medium heat and store it,this roasted sooji('bhajaleli sooji') takes less time while making sheera or upama.
