SHEERA




Ingredients:
1 cup of sooji(rava),3/4 cup of sugar(or as per your taste).
2-3 spoon ghee.1 1/2 cups of water/milk.
some cahew and almond pieces and few raisins.
some saffron (keshar).

Time:20 mins.

Method:

1.First take a cup of sooji(rava).Keep the pan on medium heat,take 2-3 tablespoon of ghee in that pan, let it melt then add sooji.
2.Until sooji becomes light brown keep stirring(about 3-4 mins),then add all milk/water in sooji.You will see thick paste,now add cashew,almond pieces and raisins, stir well for 5-7 min. after that add sugar,mix well, stir continuously for 7-10 mins so that it won't stick at the bottom.Again add 1-2 tablespoons of ghee(optional).
3.Garnish with saffron and serve hot.


Tip: If you like you can add 1/4(from 1 banana) mashed ripe banana while making sheera,add it into step 2 while roasting the sooji,it gives nice flavor.
